一、Free talk环节三分钟的师生对话拉开了课堂的序幕。

三、Practice环节在接触文本前,教师先让学生听课文录音,初步熟悉文本内容,学生需带着以下问题听录音,如:Where does Mr. Smith want to go?
Does he know the way? How do you know?
Where else does he want to go? Guess how Mr.
Smith will go there. How do you know?有了明确的目标和要求,学生们在听录音时,就能有的放矢,关键的信息自然不会错过。在回答问题时,学生几乎都是脱口而出:He wants togo to the History Museum. He doesn''t know theway. Because he is asking the way. He wants togo to the post office too. Maybe he will go bybus, because it''s far away.在学生已获得一定的信息后,教师让学生打开课本,认真阅读文本,关注更多的细节。如:How can we ask theway? How can we show the way?教师要求学生们边阅读边作记录。学生们按照教师的要求,仔细阅读,很快就总结出课本上出现的问路和指路的各种表达形式,如:Can you tellthe way to…?How far is it? How many stopsare there? Where''s…?Go along this road, turnright at…It''s about a kilometre away.
