Abstract
The questioning is the most commonly used strategy in the teaching process. It can lead the students to a wonderful world, cause the students positively to think, seek solutions and answers, train the students to analyze and solve problems, and effectively enhance the English classroom teaching more effective.

1. Introduction
The classroom teaching is an art. Classroom teaching art means the teachers’ creative process and the display in the course content, the teaching method, the teaching language, the teaching emotion, the classroom blackboard writing, the classroom questioning , the work arrangement ,the critique and so on . The questioning is the most common form of student-teacher interaction in English classroom, it will help the teachers to understand and grasp the learning situation, control the classroom teaching. The splendid and effective questions can cause the teaching dramatically, also can improve the quality of classroom teaching. Therefore, the questioning is not only one of the most commonly used strategies in the classroom teaching, but also one of the most influential teaching arts.
The questioning is one of the most ancient teaching methods. As early as in the ancient Greece, appeared famous “ Socratic questioning method ”. In the process of teaching, Socrates does not teach students directly the specific knowledge, but through the answering, conversations or debates to elaborate their views. China’s Confucius is good at the questioning and answering in his class. “Confucian analects”, an unparalleled work, is broad and profound. Song Dynasty founding Prime Minister Zhao Pu once flaunted himself governing the world by the half of “Confucian analects”. But Confucius’ thoughts contained in conversations between Confucius and his students.
In the English classroom teaching students and the teacher’s exchange is an outputting, exchanging and feedback information process, also an inputting, processing and storing information process. The teaching is a teacher-student interaction. Teaching focuses on “design”, and the design focuses on “ the question design.” To be asked must cause to think, while to think must get a result. Suitable classroom questions can often lead the students to a wonderful world, cause the students positively to ponder, seek solutions and the answers to the questions, and train the students to analyze and solve problems, and effectively enhance the English classroom teaching more effective.
