Background:
Yesanpo is a natural scenic area in Hebei province approximately two hours from Beijing. Here visitors can hike, ride horse, float the river on bamboo rafts and see some of the most beautiful scenery the north has to offer. Bailixia Gorge is one of the main attractions of the Yesanpo Scenic Area. It is 105 meters at its deepest point and covers out 10 square kilometers. This spot is known as “Nature’s studio” because of the beautiful mountains and valley. Bailixia referred to as “The first gorge in the world” and as a national park of China, has the highest possible rating of 4 Stars. Well-maintained paths wind hikers through lush valleys and breathtaking waterfalls. Touring here visitors can enjoy the marvelous gorge spectacles as if enjoying the superlative craftsmanship.
Investment environment
(1) Yesanpo scenic spots receive more than 500,000 visitors every year. Tourism in Yesanpo contributes to the development of the hotel industry in this district. And there are many private small hotels which are far away from meeting the visitors’ various needs. So high-quality hotel is badly in need.
(2) On August 18th, 2007, Hebei Ping-Pong training gym, the first superior place where combines sports and tourism, was set up in Yesanpo, opening up the first tourist line focused on sport entertainment. The training gym is situated in the key scenic spot of Bailixia, which costs 130 million. It can hold more than 400 audiences. Our hotel will be established near the gym.
(3) Now the transportation in Bailixia is convenient. The government has invested RMB 14 million to improve the road situation and made them broader and smoother. The cars can park orderly. There are safe cable cars and other advanced facilities to assure the visitors that they will have a enjoyable and safe time there.
(4) Now Bailixia is becoming the representative of Yesanpo step by step. With the rapid development of the 5A project there, the number of visitors and tourist income increased by 90% these years in Yesanpo, which becomes the miracle of tourism in north of China.
(5) Due to mountains in Yesanpo, there once was the pass of war. Therefore, crenels, forts and turrets are still kept well there, which becomes one of the historical bases in the north of China.
(6) Nowadays the hotels industry develops vigorously. Take hotels in Beijing as an example, with the Olympic Games coming near, the tourism in and around Beijing reaches its peak. As it shows in the chart 1, the number of high-grand hotels only takes a small part in the grand total. According to the investigation, however, the minority will play a key role in the development of the hotels. For China now carry out the globalization marketing strategy, the international trend is that more and more investment business will focus on the high-quality hotels and expand brand effect. Yesanpo now is developing and some of the spots actually is not well established and arranged, but due to the perfect natural resources and wonderful geographical position, it must be well-known in China in the future.
