Title： Discussion of Information System Development


Abstract：Success of an information system development is direct relative to the methodology used. New methodology still generates, though there are many. Now the common methodologies are structured analysis, prototyping, object-oriented and computer-aided software engineering. However, not all methodologies suit the development of a specific information system. This thesis analyses these methodologies and discuss their virtues and defects, then it provides theoretical foundation for choosing a methodology to develop a representative information system.
