摘 要:虚拟环境是虚拟现实技术重要且不可或缺的组成部分. 本文在介绍虚拟现实技术核心理论及虚拟环境建模方法的基础上, 系统论述了室内虚拟环境建模的方法及其实现的有效途径。本文以如何建立室内模型作为例子,对3D建模技术和建模方法作了系统、全面、深入的分析。根据应用要求,采用不同的建模方式,建立合理科学的模型,对于后续的渲染有很好的作用。对于场景数据优化技术,本文给出了二种常用的优化技术的原理和应用方法。纹理映射技术是本文着重阐述的场景数据优化方法。本文分析了各种情况下的纹理映射技术,比较了各种纹理映射技术的优劣,对纹理映射技术的应用技巧提出了自己的见解。

ABSTRACT
The virtual environment is an important and indispensable part of the virtual and practical tech2nique. This paper , based on profoundly researching into the core theory of the virtual and practical techniques and the methods of virtual environment modeling , systematically expounds the methods of indoor virtual environment modeling as well as the effective way to achieve it . This paper made a systematic, comprehensive and deep analysis of 3D modeling technology and method from the point of theory and application using the example of how to do the interior modeling. Also according to the principle of application, we build reasonable and scientific models which have great influence in the following renderings using different modeling methods. And the techniques of building high quality scene had been reported at the same time. Two popular methods of optimizing data has been given in this paper. Texture mapping, which emphasized in this paper, is one of the four popular methods. The conditions of applying texture mapping had been analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages about some texture mapping technologies had been compared in this paper. Some tips of applying the technique of texture mapping also had been mentioned.

虚拟现实技术(Virtual Reality)是20世纪末才兴起的一门崭新的综合性信息技术。它实时的三维空间表现能力、自然的人机交互式操作环境以及给人带来的身临其境感受,将从根本上改变人与计算机之间枯燥、生硬和被动的现状,使人能以视、听、触等人类习惯和自然的方式来感受和认识计算机生成的虚拟世界,促进人与环境的交流,从而更深入地开发人类的智慧。
