论唐宋茶文化的勃兴与佛教的关系
摘要
中国茶史向来有“茶兴于唐,盛于宋”的说法。唐宋茶叶经济的繁荣和茶文化的勃兴有着多方面的原因,本文着重讨论佛教在其中所作出的巨大贡献。茶与佛,姻缘深长,茶从最初的药用到食用都与佛教结下了不解之缘。茶与佛,互相促进,形成了茶佛一味茶佛不分家的密切关系。佛门寺院的佛事活动需要大量茶叶,这促进了茶叶生产和茶文化的发展。僧人热衷于饮茶,积极从事茶的生产,茶文化的研究,为茶文化的外传立下了汗马功劳。总之,佛教对唐宋茶文化的勃兴产生了极其重要的作用。而面对当今茶叶市场的种种弊端,弘扬茶文化当是明智之举。另外,深入发掘茶文化优秀品质,对于社会主义精神文明建设建设,和谐社会建设也具有一定现实意义。
