Introduction
Motivation is one of the strategic factors in modern organisations. It means motivating people to work; in other words, it is to use various ways to make people be more active and creative. Now, The managers pay more and more attention to motivation, because they think that is good to use it to increase productivity and get great profit. ‘The factors that impact on employee motivation’ aims to the importance of motivation and different methods of motivating the employee in the enterprise. Firstly, I will give a definition of motivation and emphasis its importance in the enterprise. Secondly, I will stress on Expectancy theory what reward are the major factor affect on employee motivation and give the true example from my life. Thirdly, I will use the Maslow theory. Finally, I will analysis the different methods of motivating employees, also give the example. And I will give a conclusion.

Definition and importance of motivation
The meaning of motivation is to make relations between the requirement of the work and needs from the employees. Motivators may be intrinsic or extrinsic. An example of an intrinsic motivator is the self-fulfillment of a worker as a result of performing a task well. An example of an extrinsic motivator is the award of monetary bonus for extra effort input by a worker. (www.motivation123.com). The enterprise is a big collective, all of the productions are depended on employees to operate, and so only by relying the employees could achieve great productivity. The manager can make the employees work harder to get high productivity by satisfy employee what requirements of the work and satisfy their needs. That is why understanding employee what they needs and goals are the most important.
A professor from Harvard who found that if just pay the salary to employees, it is only bring the initiative into 20% to 30% of their ability. However if the employee were given enough motivation, their ability can bring the initiative into 80% to 90%, and 50% to 60% of the ability is the function of motivation. A lot of enterprises, when they have some the problem of production or the management, they always complain that the backward equipment and technology. They never know there is too much ability of the employees is not developed. If they put more attention to motivate employees, then they can have a huge effect with the same equipment and technology.

In brief, people are the strategic materials in the modern organizations. It is also the main factor for the organizations to develop. Motivation is the main medium for excavate people’s abilities and arouse the enthusiasm of the people, it is also the strategic factor that increase the efficiency and benefit. So motivation can help the organizations make great profit. In the future enterprises also cannot get good profit if they use the same method of motivation frequently. Change a new type of motivation can be more effective than the same one. So the new method of motivation is waiting to be developed by us.
