摘要：随着数字技术的逐步成熟和宽带网络在中国的迅速普及，在网络上收看或者下载鲜有出现在电视屏幕上的海外电视节目已经不是什么新鲜事。以近年来在网络上颇具人气的美国电视剧为例，《越狱》《欲望都市》《24小时》《绝望主妇》等美剧在大洋彼岸刚播完，世界各地的美剧字幕组便迅速的投入了免费翻译的工作中，几个小时的时间，一集配有本国字幕的美剧就可以下载到美剧粉丝的电脑里。当然，中国也不例外。丰富的网络视频资源跨越的不只是地理文化界限，更多的是在数字媒体环对传统媒体形式的一种挑战。本文将通过对美剧在中国网络上的加工制作，播出发行和受众反馈等现状分析来进一步探讨网络视频对中国传统媒体，尤其是传统电视的意义和影响。

INFLUENCE OF ONLINE VIDEO ON THE CHINESE TEADITIONAL TELEVISION ---- CASE STUDY OF AMERICAN TV DRAMAS
ABSTRACT: With the development of digital technology and its fast popularity of broadband in China, it is not new to watch various oversea television programmes which are not often showed on traditional television channels, through the Internet. Take US television serials "Prison Break," "Sex and the City" "24" "Desperate Housewives" as the example, just a few hours after these serials showed on the American national television network, fansub teams all over the world have distributed them on after another online with subtitles in their native languages for audiences to download for free. It is also the case in China. The rich online video data is not only breaking the geographical and cultural barriers for international cultural communication, it challenges the traditional media models in this digital media environment. This paper will focus on the current status of popularity of US TV serials on Chinese internet, in order to discuss the significance and influences of online video on the traditional television.
